Pricing and tipping
Do you accept tips?
No. Erin Barry Salon is gratuity-free. Our rates cover the quality and care of every service, so the price you see is the price you pay.
How is my price worked out?
Each stylist has an hourly rate. Your price is based on that rate and the average time your service takes, plus the colour product we measure for your hair, so you only pay for what you need.
Hourly rates: Erin $125, Karleen $100, Kayla $85, Emma $80, Juliana $80 and Bri $65. See every service on our pricing page.
How much does balayage cost?
Balayage, dimensional colour or a full foil takes about 3¼ hours and costs $211 to $375 depending on your stylist, plus colour product. Add a haircut for $240 to $430.
Is colour product included in the price?
Colour product is charged separately and measured for your hair. It usually adds $35 to $75, depending on hair density and the service. Corrective, transformative or very thick hair may need more.
Why do stylists have different rates?
Rates reflect each stylist's experience. Bri is our apprentice at $65 an hour, which makes Bri a great option if you'd like a lower price. Erin, the owner, is $125 an hour.

What if my usual stylist is booked or away?
Every colour formula is recorded to the gram, so anyone on our team can recreate your colour exactly.
Services
Do you do hair extensions?
Yes. We offer custom keratin bonds, nano beads and wefts, colour-matched and placed for a seamless blend. Every extension service starts with a consultation so we can recommend the right method and quote your price. Karleen specializes in extensions.
Do you do colour correction?
Yes. Colour correction and fashion colour take about 7 hours and cost $455 to $800 depending on your stylist, plus colour product. Karleen specializes in corrective colour.
Do you cut men's hair?
Yes. Kayla specializes in men's cuts. A 30-minute dry cut or clean-up is $40 to $75 and a 60-minute cut with wash and style is $65 to $125, depending on your stylist. Book with Kayla.
Do you sell hair products?
Yes. We carry Davines, K18 and Evo in the salon, from shampoos and masks to styling products and hot tools. Ask your stylist at your next appointment.

Where are you located?
3360 16 Street SW, Unit 115, Calgary, Alberta T2T 7A8, in Marda Loop. We're on the east end of the Hudson building.
How do I get into the salon?
Enter from 33rd Avenue SW, not through the main building entrance on 16 Street SW. Look for our sign on the sidewalk.
